Join us — even if you need to purchase your machine!
Let’s master our machines and make friends with a fun Canister Swap!
Purchase one month of the Whole Country Caboodle canister embroidery design from The Knotted Thread and embroider 12 of the same design from that one pattern.
At the December exchange event, participants will swap their completed embroidered designs (one for each month) at a festive cookie exchange party. Everyone goes home with a full set of 12 beautiful finished monthly canisters made by the group — plus plenty of holiday cookies!
Starts in August and ends in December.
No class fee or instruction, just open sew time.
Embroidery machine with a hoop size 5x7 and 6x10.
File Type: PES, DST, EXP, HUS,, JEF, VP3 &VIP
To avoid disappointment:
Each participant will provide 11 backgrounds
Everyone must use 100% quilt shop grade cotton.
To prevent puckering, must use medium to heavy tear away stabilizer.
40wt embroidery thread and 60wt bobbin thread
90/14 embroidery needle
If fabric is light weight, starch before using.
