Supplies:
Fast Forward pattern by Jaybird Quilts
Fabric: Forty-two (42) 2.5-inch strips. You may use pre-cuts or cut your own. Contrasting Solid (background and binding) – 2 3/8 yards. For best results, the background should have a high contrast with the 2.5 inch strips.
Creative Grids Lazy Angle Ruler
6.5-inch square ruler (larger square rulers could work as well)
Easy Ruler Stickers or Glow Line Tape
Aurifil piecing thread (50 wt)
Sewing machine in good working condition
Scissors, pins, rotary cutter, ripper, etc.
Magic Premium sizing or spray starch
Portable iron and ironing pad if you have one
BEFORE CLASS:
- Please wind at least 2 bobbins.
- Cut six (6) 6.5-inch strips from your contrast fabric.
