T-Shirt Quilt

There is no reason for T-Shirt quilts to be dull or boring. This will be a technique class where each person will learn to design their own quilt from the shirts that you have. I will provide graph paper for you to design your quilt layout. Then we will learn all the basics of how to turn those T-Shirts into a quilt. Supplies Needed
T-Shirts – at least 12, preferably more. NO SWEATSHIRTS.
2.5 - 3 yards of fabric for sashings and borders, depending on the size of your finished quilt
.5 - .75 yd fabric for binding.
Various fabrics that blend with your T-Shirt colors. Will be used for cornerstones and other blocks. (Scraps, fat eighths, fat quarters)
3-4 yards of SF101, depending on the size of your quilt
Square ruler, minimum size 12.5 inches. 16.5 inches or 20.5 inches square ruler desired.
6.5-inch x 24-inch rotary ruler
Rotary cutter
Iron & ironing mat
Applique pressing sheet
Pencil & paper for making notes.
You will not need your sewing machine for this class. We will be designing your layout and start working on getting your shirts ready to go into your quilt.
