The Scarlett Bag
This bag features a tab closure with a magnetic snap, tassel, interior slip pocket, comfortable shoulder strap, and a darted bottom. We should be able to complete the bag within the class time. Finished size is 11 inches wide, 7 inches high, and 2 ½ inches deep. Pattern and Kit: pattern to be purchased at The Knotted Thread. It will include all of the items you need to complete the bag.Sewing machine, if you have a single needle throat plate for your machine it would be helpful
Narrow stitch foot or zipper foot
A Teflon foot if you have one
Size 80 Microtex, needle, or denim needle
Please bring an extra needle just in case.
40 wt. poly Thread such as Isacord, Glide, etc. The color is dark chocolate brown.
A full bobbin of matching thread
Rotary cutter with sharp blade
Basting spray if you like using that product
About 50 wonder clips
Removable marking pen
1/8 or ¼ inch basting tape
Stiletto
