Christmas Goodies
Quick fusible applique or use your favorite applique technique. We will spend the day making one of the each of the blocks used in the quilt and incorporate new notions and techniques for faster more accurate construction. Machine applique skills helpful, but not required.
| Requirements: | Required Supplies: Christmas Goodies pattern by Black Mountain Needleworks EZ Print Featherlite fusible Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper 50 wt or 60 wt Thread for applique (red, brown, and ivory) 50 wt Aurifil for piecing Paper scissors Fabric scissors General quilting supplies (thin quilting pins, seam ripper, rotary cutter, etc.) Fabric Needed for Class: 2 - light green 8 and one-half inch squares (could be same or different) 1 - 2 and one-half inch strip of red fabric for the rick rack 18 - 2 and one-half inch squares of dark green fabric for the rick rack Scraps of brown for the gingerbread men, red for the peppermints, and ivory or white for the peppermints, black for eyes and buttons. |
