Tool Time (Skill Builder Class)

In this skill-building class, you’ll learn to use two of the most popular tools in the market today to improve your piecing. The Tucker Trimmer and the Wing Clipper will give you fast, accurate units for half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles, and flying geese in multiple sizes. If you own these tools but haven’t really used them, then this class is for you. Class includes a free quilt pattern. Requirements: Supplies Needed for Class: Light Fabric 1/4 yard or fat quarter Medium Fabric 1/4 yard or fat quarter Dark Fabric 1/4 yard or fat quarter Wing Clipper by Studio 180 Designs Tucker Trimmer I by Studio 180 Designs Creative Grids Seam Marker Frixion Pen 50 wt or smaller piecing thread General Quilting Supplies: Sewing machine Rotary Cutter Pre-cutting required before class Use the cutting charts on the next page to cut the pieces for your block. Cut all pieces and keep them separated and labeled (sandwich baggies work great).
